I Put My Dog’s Face on Triangle Earrings and Accidentally Started a Pet Jewelry Empire
Share
It started as a joke.
My golden retriever, Kevin, has the derpiest face on the planet. One random Tuesday I slapped his mug shot onto a pair of Modern Edge Sublimation Blank Metal Triangle Earrings just to see if the press would survive his level of chaos.
I posted one photo on Instagram with the caption “Kevin deserves to be worn.” Within 4 hours I had 47 DMs asking “HOW MUCH?”
Fast-forward 30 days and I’ve sold 1,142 pairs of pet triangle earrings. Yes, Kevin now has his own payroll.
Here’s the crazy part: the blank is only $1.99 when you buy 100+. I press at 360 °F for 60 seconds with light pressure, add surgical steel posts, and sell them for $34–$44 a pair depending on the season. That’s $30+ profit on something smaller than a quarter.
People are putting their cats, bearded dragons, guinea pigs, and one lady even sent me a photo of her pet rock (I didn’t ask questions, I just pressed it).
The Modern Edge triangle shape is perfect because it’s bold, lightweight, and the metal takes sublimation ink like it was born for it. Colors pop, details stay sharp, and customers swear strangers stop them in public to ask where they got “that adorable dog/cat/hamster earring.”
Holiday season is coming and pet parents lose their minds over anything with their fur baby’s face on it. I already have pre-orders for Christmas and Valentine’s Day lined up.
If you’ve got a heat press and a phone full of pet photos (or customers who do), grab these blanks before the rush hits again. One silly photo of Kevin turned my spare-time hobby into a full-on pet jewelry empire.
Your turn. Whose face are you putting on triangle earrings first? Get the blanks here and thank me later: https://innosubusa.com/products/modern-edge-sublimation-blank-metal-triangle-earrings
Kevin says woof (translation: buy the blanks).
