What is Sublimation Paper?
Sublimation is a printing process that transfers images onto various materials, such as mugs, t-shirts, Phone case, Tumblers, Keychain, and other objects. For this process to work, you must use a special sublimation transfer paper. Sublimation paper is a heat-resistant paper that is specially designed for sublimation printing. It contains polyester-coated fibers that allow the ink to be transferred directly onto the substrate when heated. Sublimation paper comes in various sizes and types, so you should choose the right paper for your specific needs.
What Types of Papers Are There?
Regarding sublimation printing, the type of paper you choose can make all the difference in achieving the desired results. Various kinds of paper for sublimation are available on the market, each with unique properties and advantages. The most common types of paper used for sublimation are cotton-polyester blend, polyester-based, and polyester-coated. ● Cotton-polyester blend paper is often the most affordable option and provides a good color range and quality. ● Polyester-based papers offer greater durability and a wider color range than cotton-polyester blends but are more expensive. ● Finally, polyester-coated papers provide excellent color saturation and durability but are even more costly than the other two types.
What Is the Best Type of Paper to Choose?
Cotton polyester paper is the best choice for finding the best type for sublimation. The cotton polyester paper has a unique blend of cotton and polyester fibres, which makes it a superior choice when printing using sublimation inks. In addition, this paper is specifically designed to help create vivid and crisp prints, as the fabric absorbs the inks quickly and evenly. As a result, images produced on cotton polyester paper will have greater clarity and color saturation than other paper types. In addition to its superior printing quality, cotton polyester paper is highly durable and resistant to fading over time. It is also highly tear-resistant, making it an ideal choice for items such as banners and flags that may be used outdoors. Furthermore, this paper is affordable, making it accessible to most consumers.
How Do You Print on Sublimation Paper?
Printing on sublimation paper is an easy and efficient way to transfer vibrant, full-color images onto various products. So, whether you're looking to create personalized Tumblers, mugs, or phone cases, sublimation paper is the perfect choice for printing your custom designs. Here's everything you need to know about printing on sublimation paper. The first step to printing on sublimation paper is selecting the right type for the item you want to customize. Two types of sublimation paper are available: heat transfer and dye sublimation. Both are designed for transferring images onto items made from polyester fabric or polymer-coated materials. Heat transfer paper works best with items that have a flat surface, while dye sublimation paper is ideal for items with curved surfaces. Once you've selected the right sublimation paper, printing your design onto it is next. Start by creating a digital image of your design in your computer's graphic design software. When printing the image, make sure to select the mirror option. This will ensure that your design appears correctly when printed onto the sublimation paper. Now that your image has been printed, the next step is to transfer it onto your item. To do this, place the printed sublimation paper face-down onto the item and use a heat press to involve pressure and heat to the paper. The heat will cause the ink from the paper to transfer onto the item, creating a vivid and long-lasting image. That's all there is to print on sublimation paper! With these simple steps, you'll be able to easily transfer your designs onto various products. So give it a try today and show your creativity with personalized items!

Print Like a Pro!
My designs transfer beautifully and effortlessly every time. It's like having a magic wand for my projects – no more fuss, just flawless prints.
I ordered several of the 12 inch sublimation clock blanks. No instructions came with it. I asked the chat with us and didn't get anywhere.
These are too thick to use for my sure pressure heat press so I used my ither large format heat press. I ruined all of them. They had major ghosting. I tired firm pressure, medium pressure, I tried different time and temp settings. I tried sublimating with both up and down. Very disappointed not to mention I cannot recover the money I lost in this purchase. I cannot turn around and sell junk to my customers. I have been in the sublimation industry for quite some time so I know what zi am doing.
You have lost my business tenfold.
